Good composition. I like the way you show just the front of one barge which makes your mind picture how big it might be. Once it goes around the bend I wonder where it will go. Yes, I like this one very much.

There are a lot of things happening in this photo. The water spray;the building being constructed; I wonder what they are selling in the red and while stripped tent?; people on the boat. Did they go for a ride on their lunch hour I wonder? You packed a lot in this photo.
What a great photographer! I love looking at your photos. Keep up the good work. I am sharing your photos with all my friends at work. I think you will be a famous photographer when you grow up. Maybe in just a year or two. Maybe some day you can take a picture of Uncle Boo Boo
I work with your Aunt Sue and she sent me this link. You are an AMAZING photographer! I am going to keep checking your website daily. I can not tell you which is my favorite picture because I like them ALL!
Your pictures are wonderful. I think you have a special talent for your age. I am looking forward to seeing more pictures. Keep up the good work. Your Aunt Sue send us your website. I work with her at the Bank.
Kieran,
This picture is magnificent. You are invited to take pictures in my garden this summer if you would like. I plant alot of flowers and every year it gets better and better!!!! I have even had Praying Mantis and tons of butterflies. Wonderful pictures – keep up the stunning work.
Kieran Nevin-Lynch, WOW! WOW! WOW! What a great picture. Is this the only one you took? I find that hard to believe so please put some more up so everyone can enjoy them. I think you got the best shot of the show. I bet the owner would love this picture if you only knew who that was. You definitely have a great eye for photography. I am so proud of you and all you have accomplished in only 9 years. You were making people laugh even when you were a baby. You are going to be 10 soon so you probably don't want to hear that but it is true.
Your pictures are great!!!!
What can I say—wonderful as usual. You never cease to amaze me, and only 10 years old! Keep up the great work. You should enter your photos in competition.
I've visited your site before and admired your images. I may have commented, but I can't remember. I had no idea you were only 11 years old. Your images are really, really good. MTB is my son. His name is Matthew.
This picture is amazing. You have captured the beauty of a very cold day. I love the way the sun brightens up the air as it forms a cascading cloud of newly frozen water.
So this is the winning photo! I love that you always get so much into a photo besides your 'main' composition. I have seen places in your pictures that I never saw in all the years I worked down there. You really give a "Chicago education" to your viewers. Congratulatons.
Few people would get up at 4:00 a.m. even to see this beautiful sight. I applaud your determination to capture the beauty of the world around you. So many of your photos could be placed in a professional showing and stand up to the scrutiny of art critics. I am very proud of you and your talent and recent award.
You certainly takes some very interesting types of photos. You aren't afraid to try something new. I love the way the drops of water change shape as they make their way into the puddle. You have a great eye for timing. One partially in the water; one elongated just before entry and the final round drop as they all started out. Love the way the ripples cast shadows below. Something very calming about this photo.
I absolutely love this photo. It is one of the vey best I have ever seen of the Chicago skyline. It would be stunning hanging on the wall of a prestigious Chicago establishment. Hey, it would be great on one of my walls. Keep up the good work!!
What rich colors! The emerald green, bright orange, the yellow bill,a touch of blue peeking out of his multi-hued grey wings–fabulous. He must have an itch!
Kieran, what a great shot. I never realized that Heron's were so large. That's quite a wing span. With its legs dangling it looks even larger. Great job!!
I always like the streets of Tinley. They certainly are festive all year long. There is a village that thinks about its residents all the time and involves as many people as possible in the festivities. It looks fabulous all lit up. Great shot!
Wow! What a crowd! For a minute I thougt I was in Indiana, the Sports Capital of Basketball. It's good to see that sporting events are still popular. This player looks like he's flying! Exciting!!
What a regal eagle. Tethered at the feet. I bet he would fly far away if he got free. There's a bit of sadness in his eyes. He should be free to roam the skies and glorious landscapes of this country!
What a great close up! I was in an apartment on Lake Shore Drive and saw the show. It was spectacular. I felt like I could just reach through the window and touch them. That is how close they felt. I get the same feeling with this picture. Another great job. Keep up the great work!!
I'm surprised no one stepped on him. Did you put the penny down? He's not much bigger than it is. He certainly has a determined look on his face, like he's in a rush to get somewhere. Very skilled, interesting shot!
Only time I have ever seen this sport was back at the Sydney Olympics. Nice capture here though, right amongst the action.
How cool, the thumbnail certainly did not seem to suit the title. Glad I opened it.
This is a beautiful photo of a working man's hands. It shows such strength.
Very nice view of the Lake shore.
Very nice view of the Lake shore.
A great shot. So clear. It makes you think you can reach out and touch him.
The colors are brilliant. It looks like a very hot day.
A dreary day. I wonder if they needed to use that gun? I hope not.
Good composition. I like the way you show just the front of one barge which makes your mind picture how big it might be. Once it goes around the bend I wonder where it will go. Yes, I like this one very much.

The Blue Angels always put on an excellent show. It looks like the wings are touching.
Great action shot. You must have been very close.

Nice and colorful. Sharp contrast between barge at bottom of page and mist forming around the bend.

Love the movement in this shot. Good work.
What a gorgeous photo. I just love the way you captured 'other' downtown buildings in the reflection. A really great piece of work.
I love the movement shown in this photo. One butterfly settled and one coming in for a landing.
The boats looks so quaint and peaceful yet you have the bustling BIG city in the background. The best of both worlds. Great shot!
This is honestly one of the best photos of the 'Bean' I have ever seen. You captured so much in this shot. You have a great eye!
The old and the new in perfect harmony. Visually very appealing.
A moose on the loose. You sure find some interesting photo ops!
Love the reflections in the glass and chrome of the truck.
He's got his eyes closed. How does he know where he's going?
I love your composition skills.
You should be an award winning photographer. Oh wait, you are! This is beautiful. I bet it was worth getting up early to see.
Great shot! How did you catch him just at the right moment?

Congratulations Kieran. I saw your photo and I love it.
Kieran, here you go again. You just keep getting better. It sure looks like the dog is a real pro too!
I thought I saw a pussy cat. A very, very BIG pussy cat. She is beautiful. Well done.
What rich colors! The emerald green, bright orange, the yellow bill,a touch of blue peeking out of his multi-hued grey wings–fabulous. He must have an itch!
This country was built by working men. Great shot. Love all the textures.
Wonderful steady hand. Without the spray you would think these boats were standing still. Great clarity and color.
Looks like a lovely day to watch a race on the river. Beautiful action shot. Great clarity in color.
What a lovely creature. Her winter coat is starting to show. She looks like she is watching you.
Intense, steady gaze. On the look out. Seeking shelter? Watching you?
Grandma says, "a good looking buck like her grandson." Beautiful work Kieran.

Extremely talented or just plain crazy! Wow, what a shot!
There's a Polar Bear that should have left her fur ON! She seems surprised that the water is cold. Go figure.
Awesome picture!

I don't care what they are, this is a beautiful photo!
I'd call it Beautiful.
Nice Job Kie:)
You must have had wonderful seats to get such a great photo. I love how the ball gives the effect of motion while the fans look frozen in time.
The Chicago crowd will go to a game in any type of weather. Those chilli dogs should be careful so they can bo home without any bite marks.
Just the sheer number of birds makes you think of scavingers. Great Shot.
White on white on white. Very creative.
this looks cool kie:)
Awesome. How did you do that?
I thought you said you didn't get any good pictures. This is awesome!
Excellent photo! I think they need to get him a softer pillow though.
Looks like Jerry was singing to your music!
[…] A fun afternoon project with my son. Lots of splashing peppers for sure. You can see his picture over on his site, RedfishBluefish. […]
